Co-Founder & President
Paul Thau is the President of Winterbridge, a media buying agency that services a diverse array of advertisers in the B2C, B2B and Non-Profit industry verticals. Paul started his career on the client side in the 1990’s where he introduced enterprise level organizations to the world of online marketing. In 1999, Paul was recruited to launch a digital division for a traditional agency, where he oversaw media campaigns for dozens of Fortune 500 marketing organizations including American Express, Chase, Scholastic, Conseco, Colonial Penn, Kraft, Nestle, Electronic Arts, and Disney. Paul played an integral role in the acquisition of the agency by Omnicom in 2006, remaining on board for two additional years to oversee the transition. In 2008 Paul co-founded Winterbridge, which plans, buys and manages media across both traditional and digital channels with a specialty in performance-based campaigns stemming from its proprietary cost-per-acquisition offering. Winterbridge leverages advanced data analytic applications and integrations to formulate sophisticated insight into multi-channel attribution measurement to yield optimal efficiencies and campaign performance.
Co-Founder & Managing Partner
In the span of his almost 25 year career, which includes both brand and agency side positions, George has successfully negotiated, launched, managed and scaled a countless number of digital media partnerships and customer acquisition programs for advertisers in both the direct-to-consumer and B2B verticals.
George encompasses a unique blend of mastery in digital media buying methodologies across a variety of customer acquisition channels, coupled with extensive knowledge in web technologies and multi-touch attribution tools. His "the client always comes first" data driven approach and hands-on analytical experience provides our clients with a distinct perspective to help them effectively navigate what is regarded to be a complex landscape.
As a managing partner, George oversees a number of Winterbridge key accounts. He effectively manages the strategic allocation and execution of several multi-million dollar budgets and efficiently generates new customers to deliver maximum ROI/ROAS for our clients.
In her role as Vice President, Connie Butler spearheads the digital media and marketing strategy for a variety of clients, across verticals, introducing new channels and approaches to help clients grow while maintaining their target ROI. In addition to her media planning/buying experience, Connie is also proficient in managing CRM strategies, creative development and database/landing page projects.
Connie has worked on the agency and publisher side for such companies as Omnicom, Acxiom and USA Today and holds a Masters Degree from Columbia University in Strategic Communications.
Senior Account Director
Lori brings over two decades of digital marketing experience and has also worked on both the agency and client sides. Before joining Winterbridge, Lori was the Director of Interactive Services at a leading direct marketing company specializing in list management. Prior to making her agency move, Lori was Senior Manager of Online Media at Scholastic, where she managed the web acquisition of new customers for the Disney, Nickelodeon and Random House brands and children’s book clubs and continuities division. While at Scholastic, Lori helped develop the Internet channel into the company’s largest and most profitable source of new leads and resulting new customers. In addition, she negotiated media deals with key affiliates and marketing partners.
Early in her career, Lori spent three years as an E-commerce Manager at Star Stuck, responsible for launching strategic partnerships with Internet retailer Amazon.com, and affiliate solutions provider, Linkshare, and five years at Outpost.com, managing a number of innovative marketing campaigns including their very successful affiliate program.
Director of New Business Development
Larry has over 20 years of digital sales experience, predominantly working with major publishing companies including Meredith, Hearst and Time Inc. He has held both management and senior sales positions, with outstanding achievements in revenue generation and providing custom integrated marketing solutions. His experience and skill set has led to numerous large-scale partnerships with some of the world's leading brands.
Jason has almost 15 years of digital marketing expertise working with various Fortune 500 companies spanning the Financial, Hospitality and Retail business sectors. Prior to joining Winterbridge, Jason worked with an industry leading ESP (Email Service Provider), ensuring successful email campaign execution for companies such as Hewlett Packard, Chase, Time Inc, Starwood Hotels, BMG, and the American Cancer Society. Jason began his career as a programmer, and has worked his way through the ranks to become a senior account manager.
Team Lead, Ad Operations
Jaffrin has been working in Ad Operations, Project Management, Technical Implementation and Reporting for over a decade. He efficiently manages several cross-functional team members and oversees Winterbridge’s operational tasks on mission-critical projects and assignments.
